Otakon 2009 Overview and Review

Depends on how much you want to do the event. Luckily for me, I picked things that weren’t too popular or got there early

They do tend to get really long (especially before the dealer room opened…)
I don’t really know about the lines w/ for the voice actors’ panels and stuff (but the rooms are pretty full)

thnx for the tips. ^^ but, uh, I heard the lines were REALLY long, and not only for reg and pre-reg but for almost everything…. can you tell me if it’s worth waiting in line all those times during the con? I mean, I really wanna go, but I saw a video where the press were saying in 2009 the lines were like the ones in disney world, so…

And I mean EARLY, if you want to get a decent place in line.
*Have a meeting place, or cellphones, because I’m guessing your friends have different interests and you’ll get split up.
*If u plan on cosplay, pick something that doesn’t have alot of junk or coats. Baltimore get HOT during the summer.
*Bring money for the dealer room: you find some interesting stuff there.

Hey um me and my cousins are planning to go to Otakon this year and I was wondering whether you could give me your opinion on if this is a good convention and if this should really be the first con we go to. Thnx. =p

nice, but i think, cause it was my first time at anime expo, i missed out on a lot.
i’d would go to Otakon if i could.
weird most of the gunpla at our respective expos are basically the same price XD.
