Those pre-Star Wars costumes are… like Bob Mackie on acid. But — dang! — Marilyn possesses one of the finest voices of the 20th (or any other) century. Thanks for posting!
I remember coming across this film footage like 2+ years ago, but was certain the vocal was live.. still great, but i was floored by Marilyn’s Live vocal- impressive.. is that somewhere out there in youtube land? thanks
does anyone have any photographs of them in these costumes? I passed up buying a publicity shot of them in these that is just breathtaking! Luckily I saved the auction image from eBay, but I’d love to get a high resolution scan of it and have a Tshirt made to wear.
The passion in Marilyns delivery always brings tears to my eyes. She was and is a very beautiful woman and great singer. She is the essence of class and has always been one of my favorite woman singers.
For the person who didn’t get this song, this is someone who thought that they would be happy when the one they loved was gone, only to find out,it was not what she reaally wanted.A very sad but beautiful song.Communication is always the key for saying what you truly mean.

SUCH a great song about someone dealing with heartache. If you listen to the lyrics you can really feel her pain.
