I still say that Chorus is a woman in the story, because her text in the play states that Chorus is a woman.

i have to watch this movie for my humanities class, and my teacher said there was no way to aviod this. i said “what if oedipus had just killed himself when he found out what he was going to do?”

Oedipus Rex is central to Aristotle’s theory of “Tragedy”….and this scene is a nice example of agnorsis on the part of jocaste first and then oedipus…..who is recently blind though claiming to be a seer…..!
