ピンクレディー Pink Lady “サウスポー”

By admin

Here's Pink Lady's highest grossing song ever, "Southpaw", said to have been an ode of sorts to Japanese home run king Sadaharu Oh. It's also a favorite of mine for the baseball styled costumes. ピンクレディー

Americans don’t appreciate Asian songs in general. I think it is just a cultural thing.

Does anyone remember Jeff? The american comic who trtied his damndest to make them palatable for western audiences. On a talk show he stated that they were the best Japan had to offer. Not that they were that good, but the rest were truly awful. After all, look what it took for KISS to make it in Japan.
