Thank you for the tutorial, I am currently working on my first cosplay that will require a wig, and I’ve been so unsure what to buy and how to put it on best, this will be so much help

Oh hot damn! Now I know why all my wig attempts FAIL. D:
I have no wig cap or that headbandy thing. xD
Just bobby pins. D:

Seriously, i have the thickest hair in the world and i JUST use a wig cap when i’m dressing up… minus the bobby pins and other stuff you mentioned… it’s easier without everything you said.

right thanks…I seem to always have trouble getting the wigs to look natural on me…I think I know why now thanks! I cosplay Cloud Strife (FF7) so it’s tough to make his hair look natural to me. But I also cosplay people like Nero from Devil May Cry and Tidus from FFX so those are pretty easy to make look natural (mainly because their hair doesn’t defy gravity). Thanks again!

This is a great tutorial, thank you!!
I have very long hair (middle of my back) and for my next cosplay I want to do Tamaki, from OHSHC who has very short hair.
I’ve don’t know whether I want to cut my own hair for the cosplay, or get a wig. I have tried a wig before, but it was an bad experience, so I am hesitant to use one again. HOWEVER, I love my hair and would be sad to cut it all off.
Thanks for this! It was quite informative. I will defiantly consider a wig again as an option!
