I’m going to have an opposing opinion to this naturally, so don’t be offended. I just don’t like it. It looks odd and awkward to me. Japan has a rich and fascinating culture that goes back hundreds of years. It just makes me sad that this is the only impression of Japan that americans have.

Think of it like Holloween. It’s the same feeling that I get from watching it. That’s problaby the reason why it’s so fun.

Well, it IS freaky, but better if Japanese people do it than Americans who want to be Japanese. *facepalm*

I know some people who cosplay. The time, money, and effort they put into their costumes is amazing. I love the guy who was singing on stage. I think he was dressed as a character from Full Metal Alchemist.
